In May/June/July 2011 The Munay Ki Series of Initiation Rites will be offered once again in Dunedin.  Numbers will be limited to allow for a deeper experience. These rites place 9 seeds in the DNA to prepare us for the times to come. As we can all see, the old ways of living are coming to an end. Economies are crashing. The environment is send out alarm signals to all who have ears to hear. Wars are rampant throughout the planet. These are the times the prophecies of the Maya, Inca, Hopi and the Bible try prepared us for. But this is not a time to mourn. This is a time to lift our energy for the New World that is on its way heralded by 2012.

The Munay Ki are graciously given to us by the Q'ero of Peru: the last of the Inka people. They know that to make it to where we are going, we need a programme update in our energy system to prepare us for the next stage of evolution. They have been holding this knowledge for us for the last 600 years waiting for the time to offer their knowledge and rites to the West through their student Alberto Villoldo.

Having studied the Munay Ki with Australia's for-most animal communicator, Billie Dean, I am now offering them here in New Zealand for those who are ready to take the next leap of consciousness. For an audio extract from the  Healers Rites in Munay Ki 1 Workshop in Dunedin on the 8th and 9th Nov 2008 click here. Please contact Sparrowhawk for dates.

The Schedule is:

Munay Ki 1:  a workshop offering rites 1 through 3, The Healers Rite, the Bands of Power, and the placement of Archetypes.

Munay Ki 2: offering rites 4 through 6, The Seers Rite, The Day Keepers Rite and the Wisdom Keepers Rite.

Munay Ki 3: offering the final three rites, The Earth Keepers Rite, The Star Keepers Rite and the Creator Rite.

"The physical heart is more than a blood pump. It is an information processing system that sends powerful healing commands to the brain and the rest of the body." Institute of Heart Math

"I have had 28 years of experience, here and overseas, in the fields of Psychosynthesis, and Shamanic practice and philosophy, and also have qualifications in hypnotherapy and human sexual behaviour. My two books "Reweaving the Web" and "The Way Through" won book awards in 2009 and 2010." I am committed to assisting others to reach their potential and become who they were always meant to be." Jay Ray

For years now I have been working with the knowledge that the feelings are the messengers that we must listen to, to lead us and inform us on meeting our needs and following our potential. Each one of them is important. Even though some are uncomfortable, all are important and none are negative in the sense of 'bad'. Our upbringing has trained us to listen to the needs and advice of others. In this way our culture has controlled us,. Sometimes that has been for survival, sometimes for the power of the few. Now we are in a time where the voices of culture in our heads cannot be left to control us as we step into a future filled with unknown potential and dangers. We must listen to a deeper knowing that has always been there but which we have been taught to ignore.

Each feeling has a specific piece of knowledge for us. Learning how to interpret what our feelings and emotions are telling us is a skill we have largely lost. But it is there inside of us, informing us all the time. Now science has done extensive research that shows this is provably so. Our brain receives information from the heart, not the other way around. If we don't listen to the heart, we listen to the Past and the Past can not take us through this Present into the New Future. Listening to it can only produce more of the same.

Later on this year I shall be conducting a series of classes designed to teach you about emotions, and help you see what yours are telling you. You will learn how to take responsibility for meeting your own needs through acting on these feelings, how to tell the difference between thought and feelings (most people can't tell to begin with), and how to allow the more comfortable feelings to flood your consciousness once the needs have been met, ensuring old repeating patterns are stopped in their tracks.

We cannot move forward towards our potential with blocked emotions and we are being called to move forward now, for the health of ourselves, our communities and Gaia herself. This opportunity is for anyone who has already done some work on themselves and feel ready to take the next step. An initial interview with Jay will ensure that participants are on a similar developmental level before acceptance into the programme to maximize benefit to all.

The course will commence on Thursday August 4th until Thursday October 6th (10 once-weekly classes, 3 hours in duration from 6.30pm to 9.30pm), at a cost of $600. Payment plans can be worked out individually if necessary. As I work with small groups of no more that 8 I will require a firm commitment and deposit of $100 on registration no more than four weeks (July 5th) before the event commences. Deposit is refundable should numbers not be met and the course not proceed.

This is an opportunity not to be missed. It is the first time Jay has made this course available to Dunedin participants and as it extends her work, would also be an ideal addition for those who have done prior work with her. Please contact me on sparrowhawk@spiritflight.co.nz or call me on 03 4780977/021379104 for information or to register.

Schedule of classes:

Week 1:  How we got in this mess

This week looks at the history of the beliefs that led to emotional suppression particularly in European countries and how it has affected you personally.

Week 2: The way the brain/mind works.

The mind has a true function but it’s not what most of us have been taught to use it for. This week looks at the workings of the mind and how to begin to put it in its true role.

Week 3: The Body and Energy Fields

The body too has a brain but few of us are listening to it. This week looks at how important our relationship with our body is and how that relates to living in the present moment.

Week 4: Our potential

Yes every one of us has it and we are constantly being encouraged (and or/pushed) towards it. But we have been trained to ignore it and listen to everyone else’s opinions of who we are. How did that happen to you? What exciting options are covered up by our need for approval.

Week 5: The Emotions- What they are and how they really fit into our evolutionary journey.

This week is an in-depth exploration of emotions and how to use them.

Week 6: Anger is My Friend.

It isn’t the ogre it’s been painted to be. In fact its one of the most important feedback mechanisms we have, if we could only understand its communication with us.

Week 7: Fear- Not what you think.

Fear is a primal instinct when we are in the wilds and works with Anger to save us. But when were you last attacked by a Sabre Tooth Tiger? Fear in the 21st century has been co-opted by the market place and used against us. Find out how and what it’s really telling you.

Week 8: Sadness is not allowed.

And why not?? Why aren’t boys allowed to cry? Why do women have to stiffen their upper lip and bury their grief? Expression may save your life. Depression will certainly ruin it. But sadness is not depression. This week we look at why?

Week 9: Contentment: the default feeling.

A good look at the reality of ‘positive’ feelings and what they mean to you, how you can have more of them without being in denial.

Week 10: The Global Alternative

Finally we look at the affects suppression has had on the world and the possibilities of change that are there if we begin by cleaning our own emotional back yard.
